Project
Thomas Lane Jr. grew up in a low-income community within Baltimore City. As a result of selling and using drugs his life took a turn for the worst. His drug addiction lead him down a dark path of homelessness, depression and crime. Thomas was ultimately incarcerated for over 10 years of his life. Even though this was a low point in his life, it was also a pivotal moment that took him on a spiritual journey to redemption. Now Thomas is a husband, father, grandfather, college graduate, graphic designer, photographer, videographer, entrepreneur, minister of music, mentor and a man of God.
His life is like the phoenix rising out of the ashes of his past mistakes only to be transformed into having a new perspective on life. What Thomas found laying beneath his insecurities and low self-esteem was a potential to grow and that growth and development process was brought to life through his spiritual battle. This is a story of redemption, empowerment and paying it forward.
